Popsey's roots were grounded in India, and in his teenage years he married Balwinder Kaur Gill who became his soul mate and in the last few years his devoted carer. Having started creating their little family, Popsey moved to Singapore in hope to better his education and knowledge for life which he would pass onto the future generations of the Gill family. He started off as a Military Police Officer in Singapore where he acquired a better education giving him a thirst for life. Upon achieving his dream and gaining a degree he became a businessman and Councillor in his local community - which he served nobly throughout his life. His efforts were honorably commended and recognized upon receiving his Honorary Alderman status. Not only was he a father to us he was a father to those he adopted and treated everyone like his own. I cant find the words to describe him, he was a force of his own and a true legend. Very proud to have known such a gracious man. Will love you always Nana Ji xx
